I am on an amazing journey into life, love, beauty and truth.  I stumbled supposedly  onto this site by accident I was looking for some John Muir quotes…and the site struck a resonating chord in me…I am on a journey to the authentic self.  I have washed my soul in religion and have found it wanting…then I dipped into the still pools of the spirit and have came back refreshed.  I try to have an open mind though at times my doubting has become as of late a catalyst into the new…
I have a story that is familiar and haunting…it revolves around severe loss and total redemption…it is every ones story and yet it is my own.  I have shadows that chase my inner being and today I have chosen to embrace the shadows and let the ghosts of bittersweet be.  They are what has brought me to today.  My mantra is truth, beauty and love.  In it when I face the truth of what was I am able to see where I need to be for today.  I know that my higher power whom I choose to call Creator God has revealed to me the calmness and serenity in nature…( I live downtown and long for the quiet country side).  When I am anxious and distraught I will see my  red-tail hawk.  She has been with me for over 15 years.  She has brought me through a bitter divorce and has taught me simple joys for simple times.  I love seeing her in all of her splendor…rather soaring across the sky or perched on a precipice…quite, wild strength.  It bolsters my spirit when I catch a glimpse of her majesty…and all is well again for today…
